She’s born in Detroit, but thankfully Eryn Allen Kane is now based in Chicago because it’s led her to collabing with some of our favourite young Chi-Town artists (Chance The Rapper, and a great feature on Saba’s ‘Burnout’ most notably). We’re also thankful that Kane is spreading her wings as a solo artist, and in our opinion is about to take over the game when it comes to female vocalists. Prince might agree.

Her first single off her upcoming debut EP is “Have Mercy”, and it’s powerful to say the least. Watch the perfectly simple video directed by Austin Vesely below as Eryn Allen Kane takes centre stage.
